Mutha Buggah™ Bug Spray
“Mutha Buggah Bug Spray” (say it with a Boston accent 😉) We both enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities from the Cape to the White Mountains, especially hiking and paddle boarding. This bug spray is a necessity! It helps ward off all kinds of bugs but was made especially for mosquitoes and ticks. Be sure to spray both skin and clothing especially shoes (repel the ticks). When using Lil Buggah for your little ones, spray their clothing with Mutha Buggah.
Not only effective, this spray smells great. We have customers who use it as room freshener/disinfecting room spray (especially bathrooms and kitchens) and one customer even complains that her kids use it up as a body spray even when indoors!
- Be sure to do a patch test. This is to make sure your skin does not have an adverse reaction to the essential oils. The inner forearm is a great place to do a test since the skin is delicate, similar to facial skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
- Avoid the use of essential oils on broken, irritated, damaged, or diseased skin.
- Some essential oils increase photosensitivity. The common essential oils considered phototoxic include: bergamot, lime, bitter orange, lemon, angelica root, petitgrain, rue and grapefruit. We use a safe dilution ratio when using the aforementioned oils but again recommend a patch test.
- If pregnant or nursing, educate yourself on which oils you can use safely. Check with your doctor beforehand.
